About Me
We are a busy, friendly working family based in Beaconsfield, with three children aged 9, 8 and 4, plus a very affectionate Spaniel (Bo) and cat (Freddie).
For the past seven years we’ve had two wonderful nannies who has been very much part of our family. As the children are now all in school, we’re looking for a slightly different setup and a new person to join us for the next chapter.

About the role
We’re looking for someone who is fun, warm and great with children, but who can also run a tight ship and bring calm structure to busy afternoons.
The core responsibilities include:
- School pick-ups (children attend schools in Beaconsfield and Amersham)
- Bringing the children home and supervising playtime
- Preparing and serving meals (we batch-cook most of the time)
- Supporting homework and reading
- Bath time and evening routines
- Getting uniforms and bags ready for the next day
- Occasional evening babysitting (paid extra)
Household support
Alongside childcare, we’d love help with:
- Tidying up after breakfast and the afternoon/evening routine
- Children’s laundry (washing, folding, putting away)
- Keeping children’s rooms tidy and organised
- Light decluttering and organisation
- Running local errands as needed
(We have a professional cleaner once a week, so this is not a deep-cleaning role.)
Hours
- Term time: Ideally 2pm–7pm, Monday to Thursday (occasional Friday if work commitments)
- School holidays: Minimum 40 hours per week
For the right person, we’re open to longer term-time hours if you’d be happy to take on cleaning, dog walking and fuller housekeeping tasks.
Driving
- A confident driver is essential, as the children attend different schools
- We have a spare family car available but also like flexibility for you to use your own car, with mileage paid
