Hello,
I am a 27 year old single parent to a 3 year old little girl. I’m currently on the search for extra childcare as I’m due to start a new job very soon. She currently goes to a childminder already which she’s been going to for almost 2 years now but with my new role that childcare can only help until a certain time of the day. My New role includes shifts of 7am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm and 10pm - 7am but the 7am - 2pm and 2pm - 10pm will be the shifts I have the most issues with when it comes to childcare. My daughter has not started Nursery yet but when she does I would need help with pick ups, drops off and keeping her until I get back home. I’m enquiring that on my days that I’d be doing 2pm - 10pm for someone to pick her up either from school or her other childminder and bring her home and get her to bed until I arrive. And the days I do 7am - 2pm someone who can come to the home to either watch her until I arrive back home or to get her ready for school and drop her off and I would pick her up. I would rather have her only use one childcare but if necessary and needed then I’ll have to use 2. I hope this all makes sense,
