About Me
Hi! My name is Karina, I'm 23 years old and I am currently studying with the intention of becoming an accredited play specialist.
I love exploring and finding new fun and adventurous things to do - I have just recently spent time sailing across the North Sea.
I also appreciate the need for quiet time, and feel passionate about creativity (although I am definitely no Picasso!).
I live in Cambridge City Centre, and would love to support families who require childcare.
My role as a childcare provider can be flexible to meet each family's needs. It can include school/nursery drop-off's and pick-up's, after-school and evening care, organising fun day trips, homework help, household duties, and much more!
My Experience
I have previously worked as an Early Years Educator within various settings, and my roles included caring for and playing with the children, and providing enriching and engaging activities to support development.
I have also worked at Addenbrookes Hospital as a Health Care Assistant on a children's surgical ward. This role involved closely monitoring children's health and well-being, as well as providing care and comfort.
I have plenty of experience in caring for children in an informal setting too, e.g., looking after family members/friends children.
Most of my childcare experience is with early years (0-5), however, I feel competent with all ages.
My Qualifications
My relevant qualifications include;
Level 3 Health and Social Care,
Level 3 Psychology of Childhood and Youth,
Level 2 Caring for Children and Young People,
Paediatric First Aid,
Basic Life Support.
My Availability
Due to my studying, and other various commitments, I can only offer part-time services, which includes various mornings, afternoons, and evenings, as well as some full days.

I am extremely flexible in terms of fees and I am more than happy for amendments to be made as and when it is needed.
