My Experience

As a parent of children who are quite different ages, and also now a grandparent, I have invaluable hands on experience in understanding the diverse needs and joys of caring for children at various stages. I understand that choosing childcare is one of the most important, and sometimes difficult, decisions you will make for your family and I'm committed to making the transition as smooth and reassuring as possible for both you and your child. I work hard to build strong relationships with each family so that together we can create a consistent and supportive environment that enables your child to thrive. I follow the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for children from birth to age 5. Children learn best through play so I provide fun and engaging activities that support all areas of learning and ensure that every child can explore, discover and develop at their own pace.

My Qualifications

I have completed an Ofsted approved Childminding course, Designated Safeguarding Lead training, hold a Level 3 Paediatric First Aid certificate and Level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene certificate. I regularly attend training courses to improve my knowledge and keep my skills up to date.

My Availability

My opening hours are Monday to Thursday, from 8am-6pm.

All drinks, snacks, nappies, wipes and regular weekly outings are provided without charge.
