My Summary
About Me
54 years old mum of twin daughters, now aged 27. I’ve had management roles all my career, always worked with children, cooking in schools & nursery’s. My love for children and their development took me into working in a nursery environment, it was here that made me realise I wanted to work with children in a smaller scale, giving them more quality time, which can’t be done in a nursery environment. My aim is for your child to be in a happy environment, where they can have fun, whilst learning. As I love the world we live in, I recycle every thing, and try to use natural materials .
My Experience
Bringing up twin daughters, mainly single handed. Working in schools, nursery’s, babysitting and lots of reading and gaining qualifications and certifications through this. My love of working with children makes my enjoyment of learning everything about them and helping them succeed in early stages of their development.
My Qualifications
Safe guarding, first aid, kids play,food hygiene, understanding and working with EYFS, children’s development, understanding autism,schema, food hygiene.
My Availability
Knowing what it’s like being a single mum, how important flexibility is for a parent.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.00 per hour
My fees reflect on my setting, I love being at one with nature , so I’ve had built a lovely garden room in a safe, enclosed back garden, every day will be spent outside as much as possible , unless it’s extremely bad weather conditions. Trips to the park, bus rides , I like to walk as much as possible so can do drop offs and pick ups from Tutbury primary School.

We cannot recommend Anne at Giggle Garden highly enough. Finding someone you trust completely with your child is no easy task, but Anne has given us total peace of mind from day one.
Since attending Giggle Garden, our child has absolutely excelled. The progress in their speech and communication skills has been incredible and Anne played a massive role in making potty training a quick, smooth and successful milestone for us, something we are so grateful for!
One of our absolute favorite things about the setting is the fantastic outdoor space. It gives the children the freedom to explore, learn and be active in a safe environment every single day.
Anne provides a wonderfully nurturing, fun and educational home from home. If you are looking for a top tier childminder who will truly care for your child and help them thrive, Giggle Garden is the place to be!
