About Me

Hi, I’m a warm and experienced Ofsted-registered childminder based in Thorley, offering a unique setting that combines the best of both worlds — the comfort of a home-from-home environment with the structure and opportunities of a larger setting.

With over 5 years of childcare experience, I’ve created a nurturing, welcoming space where children feel safe, valued and confident to explore. As a slightly larger setting, children benefit from socialising in a small group, building friendships and developing key skills, while still receiving the individual care and attention you would expect from a childminder.

I work alongside my assistant Katie, who is a qualified teacher. Together, we provide a rich, supportive environment that promotes holistic development — supporting each child socially, emotionally, and physically, alongside their early learning.

Our days are shaped around a balance of child-led play, creative activities, and outdoor experiences, combined with gentle teaching and guidance. All activities are carefully tailored to each child’s interests and stage of development, helping them to grow in confidence and independence.

We place a strong emphasis on communication, working closely with parents to share updates, milestones and any support needed. Building trusting relationships with families is at the heart of what we do, ensuring consistency between home and our setting so every child feels secure and supported.

I am fully Ofsted registered and hold up-to-date training in Safeguarding, the Early Years Foundation Stage, Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid, giving you peace of mind that your child is in safe and capable hands.
