My Requirements

We have a lovely 4 bed home with a garden, in a lovely village, with a pub and surrounded by fields. Your room would be an en-suite super king with a view out over the fields. You’ll often hear the horses trot by!

We live in a small village but there is a lovely high street with all the essentials in nearby Corsham (a 20 min walk or a regular bus 6 days a week) and there are beautiful walks, quirky cafes and farm shops. We are also 20-30 minutes from Bath by bus or car, Bristol is 45 minutes by car and there is a direct train into London (1hr 50) via a station in Chippenham (15mins away).

With Dad being way, we’re really hoping someone can help mum out.

- Ideally Getting up early with the little one for a few in the morning while mum gets some rest (he’s still not a great sleeper) - this won’t be every day, a few times per week.
- Helping get ready for nursery / breakfast etc
- Pick up / drop offs from nursery
- 1-2 days per week childcare (1 minimum, 2 can be negotiated if suits everyone)
- Light household duties such as laundry, keeping areas clean (we have a cleaner every 2 weeks so it’s a case of maintaining), some meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Some babysitting
- Occasional dog walk!

Hours will be around 25-30 per week but can negotiate around what your needs are too.

Schedule likely to look something like the below:

- Monday - 0530 (or as early as poss after this)-0800 & 1700-1930, collection from nursery, bath and bed. Daytime free.
- Tuesday - 1700-1930 (as above). Daytime free.
- Wednesday - 0530 (or as early as poss after this) - 0800 playtime / get ready for nursery. Daytime free.
- Thursday - full day with little one
- Friday 2-3 hours, flexible on time based on your availability
- Saturday - perhaps another early rise
- Sunday 0845-1045

Household task can be done around your schedule.

Obviously full days off can also be arranged and days can change depending on nursery availability too.

We do eat meat but love our veggie meals too, we can accommodate gluten free no problem as mum is wheat intolerant, and our little one has a suspected milk intolerance so we’re used to catering for dietary needs.

We’re looking for someone proactive, organised and diligent who genuinely enjoys time with little ones. We’re a kind and caring family and would will do all we can to ensure you are happy in your role too.
