We based in Shepherd's Bush (W12) looking for a loving and attentive nanny to join us to take care of our 3 children.
My Requirements
We are a family based in Shepherd's Bush (W12) looking for an experienced, loving and nurturing after school nanny to join us to take care of our children in a long term position.
Role will be for Monday to Friday 2-7pm (total 25 hours per week). You will take over care of our youngest (1.5yo) at home and do the pick up of our daughter (3yo) from nursery and son (4.5yo) from school and bring them to activities and support any homework/after school care and bath/bedime routine. On Fridays, our 3yo does not attend nursery. Our 1.5yo will start at the same nursery M-Th from January 2027. We have a cargo bike so someone comfortable with this is greatly appreciated.
Father works from home daily and Mother works from home on most Fridays.
We are looking for someone who can strike a balance between discipline and good fun. An active, warm, engaging, proactive nanny who is willing to create a positive learning environment (indoors and outdoors) to promote curiosity and help meet emotional/academic developmental goals.
Duties include:
All care and nursery duties related to the children
Providing a safe, healthy and enriching environment
Meal plan and cook healthy and nutritious dinner for the children
Cleaning up after the children and yourself to maintain an organised/tidy space
Helping with bath time and bedtime
Pickup at nursery and school (10mins walk/bike)
Taking them to after school activities or play dates and planning other activities during school holidays
Playtime, reading, any light homework
We may require occasional babysitting or proxy parenting and may require travel but can be discussed. Some flexibility may be requested during school holidays and we have an au pair who does the mornings.
We have a Labrador who is very much part of the family, some pet care (feeding the dog) may be required if the Father gets too busy with work.
Requirements for nanny
Right to work in the UK and living within a short commute
Be fluent in English.
Experience with toddlers preferred (eg potty training, big emotions)
Have excellent contactable references
Possess an up to date Enhanced DBS check and Paediatric First Aid certificate
Confident cyclist
Some travel may be required
Start date: August
Salary: Negotiable depending on experience
