Cait
Babysitter in London: Merton
My Summary
Wimbledon Babysitter
About Me
Hi, I’m Cait. I’m 33, live in Wimbledon, and I’m available for ad-hoc babysitting during evenings and weekends.
I’ve lived in London for the past 12 years, but originally grew up in the village of Martley in Worcestershire. I studied Film Production at University and have since worked in TV and Film as a Production Manager. I’m now freelance, and alongside this I run a small online stationery business, which gives me flexibility between contracts.
I don’t have children of my own yet, but I genuinely enjoy spending time with them and regularly look after children within my family and friendship circle. I’m naturally caring, patient, and attentive, and I love creating a calm, happy environment - whether that’s through reading, imaginative play, baking together, or getting outside when appropriate.
I have a strong interest in food, nutrition, and fitness, and enjoy encouraging positive, balanced habits in a relaxed, age-appropriate way. I love cooking and baking, and I’m always happy to support healthy meals, snacks, and active play if that fits with your family routine.
I’m very organised and reliable, and comfortable following routines, instructions, and individual parenting styles. Growing up with a younger sister with learning difficulties has made me particularly understanding and mindful of different needs and personalities. I always aim to make children feel safe, supported, and valued.
Parents often describe me as warm, trustworthy, and easy to communicate with.
Feel free to get in touch if you’d like to chat or have any questions.
My Experience
I did a lot of babysitting for local families in Worcester during my teenage years (references available). In recent years, I’ve regularly helped look after my younger cousin, who is now 13.
Through my work, I also have experience supporting children in professional settings. When working with child actors, I’m responsible for their licensing and safeguarding, as well as ensuring their wellbeing throughout the day - including managing schedules, breaks, meals, and making sure they feel comfortable and supported.
