My Requirements
We are looking for a reliable, warm and proactive person to help support our home and family one day per week. This is a hybrid role combining childcare and household support, ideal for someone who enjoys creating calm, organised environments and is confident around young children.
Hours
Monday 9:00am – 4:00pm (regular weekly position)

North London (Finchley area)
Pay
£16 per hour
Paid weekly or monthly (candidate preference)
About the role
This role is designed to help us start the week smoothly. The day includes a mix of childcare and household tasks.
There will be approximately two hours focused purely on playing with and supervising our 2 year old while mum attends work meetings. The rest of the day involves general household support while the child is either out with mum, napping, or being supervised.
Dad may occasionally be working from a home office.
Childcare responsibilities
Engaging play and supervision
Reading books, drawing, puzzles and simple age-appropriate activities
Household responsibilities
General tidying and organising
Laundry washing, folding and putting away
Kitchen and surface cleaning
Checking and resetting the home ready for the week
Light organisation of household spaces when needed
We are looking for some who is
Proactive and able to work independently
Comfortable balancing childcare and practical household tasks
Kind, calm and confident with toddlers.
Requirements
Previous childcare experience preferred
DBS check strongly preferred
