About Me
Hello I am Rekha, I am registered childminder with Ofsted Tiney, I live at Waltham Cross 5mins from bus and train station with all green surrounding nearby parks, local shop and malls. I live in a 3 bedroom Maisonette. downstairs, I have a playroom, toilet facilities is available and large kitchen. My purpose is to provide a happy active and secure environment for young children to learn, develop and be cared for. I keep children safe and healthy and provide curriculum that helps them ready for school and future learning. I provide resources such as educational toys, books, sensory play, art and design/coloring, baking muffin together and walk to the park, joining local community library and events such as Murpet show, animation Disney show, and drama to make learning fun and interactive. I also offer funded childcare. I speak English, French, Hindi, Filipino (tagalog).
My Experience
My experience as childminder working with babies and toddlers are to keep them safe and supervising at all time, task involve such as feeding, changing nappies, helping with hygiene and maintaining a child's routine (meal time, nap time) also had experience working in nursery and working as teaching assistant in primary school since 2010 with 5yrs to 7yrs old children that help me to be part of their growth with fun activities outdoors and indoors. I achieved a paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding childcare, and up to date with training requirements. have full DBS of myself and my household.
My Qualifications
NVQ LEVEL 2 Certificate in Health, Social Care Children and Young People Setting
Teaching Assistant Level 1 & 2 Diploma
Childcare Diploma
Certificate of Achievements on mandatory training:
Early Years Foundation stage statutory Framework Safeguarding, Food & Hygiene and Safe Sleep
First Aid training certificate
My Availability
I currently have space available on Mondays and Thursdays from 08:00-18:00 providing day-to-day care from home to home environment also offer pickup and drop-off your child before and after school. I offer occasional babysitter.
My Fees
- Childminding from £7.50 per hour
- Babysitting from £9.00 per hour
I charge £7.50 per hour and should there be any overtime my fee is £2.00 per hour.

I couldn't be happier with Rekha! As a first-time parent, I was naturally nervous, but she was so knowledgeable, caring, and reassuring. Her genuine love for children shines through. I feel incredibly lucky to have found someone so warm and attentive to care for my little one. Highly recommend!
