About Me
I am a qualified primary school teacher, currently in my 8th year of teaching and have taught children in Year R, Year 1 and Year 2. I have lived in Andover for 6 years, with my partner and 2 fur babies. I grew up in sunny Swanage and love to travel 'home' to the seaside when I can!
My Experience
I have worked with families with 3 children whilst at university, closely cared for my godson and nephew from 2 months to 5 years old, 10 month old twins and also have 8 years experience teaching infant school age.
I spend lots of time around my friends and their children who have ranged from 3 years to 12 years.
My Qualifications
I have a Level 3 Diploma in childcare and education (where I worked in nurseries and pre-schools) as well as a BEd in Primary Education.
I am recently Epipen trained, use Read Write Inc as our phonics scheme in school, have recently updated my safeguarding training and have a full, clear DBS clearance.
My Availability
I have recently resigned from my teaching job, so I have lots of availability.
I do sometimes travel to Swanage to stay with my parents and help out with my dad's health/medical appointments, so may need some flexibility with hours/days
