I was sole charge of 3 children. They were 2, 5 and 7 years old when I started. I would take the two older children to school and while they was at school I’d take the 2 year old to various age related local activities.

I am sole charge of a 5 year old boy and 4 year old little girl. I take them both to and from a school and pre school. Do some nursery duties while there are at school. Help with home work and prepare an evening meal for them both.

I am sole charge of 4 year old boy and 7 year old little girl. I helped the 7 year old little girl with homework, reading and spellings. I helped the 4 year old with phonic work and writing practice. When I started the eldest was 16 months old and the youngest came along while I was there. I looked after him from newborn.

In sole charge of a 6 month old baby girl on Monday and Tuesday each week. Sterilising, preparing her bottles, cooking and preparing fresh purees, age related playing and taking to play classes.

Nanny, Bickley: Wednesday - Friday: march 2012 - June 2012

I worked here for 3 months covering their Nannys maternity leave. I looked after 2 girls ages 4 and 6. I took them both to school did the pick up. During the day I would prepare a fresh home cooked meal for them, do errands for the family, their washing and ironing and generally doing top tidying throughout the house, and also helped the girls with their homework which was usually reading and a maths or English homework sheet.

I worked with 2 children aged 3 years and 5 years. I dropped them to school and pre-school. while they were at nursery and school i prepared there meals which were always homemade and fresh, i did their washing and ironing too. I contributed a lot to the children development through helping them with their homework, taking them to their after shool activities, getting them washed and dressed and bathing them in the evening.

Working for a family with two children aged 2 and 5. My duties include taking the children to school and nursery (3 days), cooking fresh healthy meals daily, laundry, ironing, purchasing the children’s clothes, keeping the children’s rooms tidy and clean. I assist the older child with his homework which includes reading, writing and spellings.

The older child has sensory integration disorder and requires extra support and attention.

After my work placement at Nuffield Health I was employed as a Creche Assistant to cover holidays and busy periods. My responsibilities include welcoming the children in the morning, floor play, taking the children to the ball pond and ensuring that the children are happy and cared for. The ages range from 3 months to 3 years.

Throughout my CACHE Diploma course I have also gained experience of working with children aged 6-7 at Foster Park Junior School and ages 2-4 at St. Lukes Pre School.

July 2006

During the first week of my work experience I shadowed a Midwife and travelled around with her visiting new mums and checking on the progress of their newborn babies. In the second week I helped out on the Post Natal Ward. I assisted with the care of a premature baby born to a drug dependent mother and I also helped in the care of a baby boy whose mother had experienced a difficult birth and was on another ward for recovery.
