ABOUT ME AND MY FAMILY
My name is Joanne, I prefer to be called Jo. I’m 37 years old. I also have dyslexia, but it never affects my work. I’m a hard worker and reliable. I am Ofsted registered childminder for a year. I have lived in Bromley for 37 years. I live near Bickley station (15 minute walk). I have a husband and two children girl (12) and boy (7) I have a 12 week old puppy (staffy). I have full clean driving license and I’m registered with ICO.

MY EXPERIENCE
I have worked in 2 nurseries for 9 years. I have looked after children of all ages from 9 months up to 5 years. The first nursery I worked in for a year and the second nursery for 8 years. I started working in nursery when I was 17 years old.

I have been a registered Childminder since December 2024 and have been childminding since December 2024.

I'm currently childminding a 1 year old and a 2 year old. We do lots of art and crafts and we go on outings to the local parks and taking walks. We go to Bromley and to the local supermarkets where the children can pick their food to do cooking activities e.g. icing biscuits, making sandwiches and fruit and vegetable kebabs.

In Spring time we will be getting caterpillars and watching them grow into butterflies the children will also be learning about the cycle of a butterfly.

In Spring time will we also be planting fruit and vegetables in my garden and the children will be watering and learning about fruit and vegetables everyday they will also be taking them home.

PLACES NEAR ME
I am close to local parks, playgroups, libraries and Bromley and close to transport too

School Runs:
I currently covering school pick ups and drop offs at Bickley Primary School

MY FEES
- £7.50 per hour - £75.00 a day
- I accept all government funding
- Funding hours are 15/30 hours per week
