Hi, I’m Faye, a single parent to my amazing 7-year-old son, Caelan. He’s full of curiosity and joy, with a deep love for trains, cars, and anything transport-related. Caelan has a rare genetic disorder and attends an inclusion unit due to complex learning difficulties.
I’m looking for a kind and reliable person to help with regular evening childcare (6 hours per week, split over two evenings from 4:30 – 7:30 PM). I can be flexible on which evenings, and ideally, you’d also have some availability during school holidays.
About the Role:
Preferably self-employed with your own insurance (£15 per hour, paid monthly).
If employed by us, the rate would be £12 per hour.
Based at our home.
Playing, engaging with Caelan, and starting his bedtime routine.
Occasionally taking him to local activities or the park.
Supporting him with personal care when needed.
About Caelan:
He’s 7 years old and absolutely loves trains, cars, and all things vehicles!
He has learning difficulties and uses PECS symbols for supporting his verbal communication.
He’s a happy little boy but sometimes needs support with emotional regulation.
While he can display challenging behaviors at home, he typically does not exhibit them at school or with external support providers.

Caelan it is an amazing child who enjoys to play with trains and cars. We are having lots of fun whenever we are playing together and he is always polite and kind towards me. It is a great pleasure to spend time together .
