About Me
I offer nannying- either long-term part-time or short-term full time- and/or babysitting from your house. As part of nannying, I would be happy to complete household tasks, cook, clean or help children with school-work- I have experience in teaching children 4-11. I believe in the importance of clear communication and following parent/carer's parenting style for consistency. In general, I follow a sensitive and child-led approach to caring for children, believing in capability and self-directive learning/playing.
My Experience
I have 2 years experience working in a pastoral and supervisory capacity with children aged 4-18, also delivering the 7-13 year olds music theory lessons. I also worked for 6 months in a nursery/reception class as a TA with 3-5 year olds, mostly working one-on-one with SEN pupils. For 2 years I was involved in a voluntary capacity with a summer school for children identified by schools as benefiting from additional social input. I also have babysitting experience for children aged 4-11.
My Qualifications
I have the first aid at work qualification. I also have a DBS and, in terms of tutoring, 12 grade 9 GCSEs, 3 A* A-levels, grade 8 violin and grade 5 music theory.
My Availability
In the short-term (until September), I am available all day and most evenings, apart from Wednesday afternoons when I am teaching. From September, my availability will change, and I will mainly be available for before and after school drop-off/pick-ups and some evening work, with the possibility of one full day.
