About Me

Hello, I’m Lily! I’m an 18 year old who is currently working towards a Level 2 in Childcare.

I am an artistic person, who enjoys all things arts and crafts! I love to let out my creativity. I love the outdoors too, whether it’s a wet weather welly walk, or a picnic in the park i enjoy exploring what the world has to offer! I enjoy using these interests to engage with the children in exploring their outdoor environment, learning hands on and getting creative!

My Experience

I currently work in a nursery Monday to Thursday and I thoroughly enjoy it. I have worked at this nursery for nearly 2 years since the start of my childcare journey. I have key children at my day job, meaning I have great experience in understanding children's development and helping children continue to grow through explorative, thought provoking play. I have babysat for multiple families alongside my job on an ad hoc basis.

My Qualifications

I am currently working towards my Level 2 in Childcare. I am passionate about promoting a child-led learning environment, and I closely work alongside the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stages) in creating age and stage appropriate learning opportunities. Alongside my day job as a Nursery Practitioner, I also complete various training to enhance my experience. This varies from safeguarding, online safety and even food and hygiene.

I am trained in paediatric first aid, refreshed in September 2023.

I hold a clean DBS which I am happy to provide upon meeting.

I hold a full and clean drivers license.

My Availability

I am available all day Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I am also available on Thursday evenings after work (I finish at 6pm).

My Fees

  • Babysitting from £10.00 per hour

My fees start from £10 for 1 child hourly, and increase to £14 for 2 children. Any more than 2 children and fees can be discussed further.
