Registered Childminder Job in Ribble Valley
About Me
Hello, we are keen to acquire some childcare assistance from mid January 2026 until the end of March. I have taken a contracted job role for this period of time & my husband works shifts at JM in Clitheroe where we live. We consequently need someone to help cover the gaps of care early in a morning & drop off at school and with school pick up, tea time & a bit of shuffling about to clubs. I have the full schedule available to see what is required, some weeks it's only 2 days, others it's 4 days. Our children are 9 years and 11 years, polite & no nonsense apart from the odd bit of sibling rivalry. This is an easy gig for someone with time top and tail of the day. Looking for consistency so would like someone for the whole time period.
My Requirements
Short term bespoke weekly care for 8 weeks starting January 19th 2026 until the end of March 2026. Days of work and hours vary - full schedule available on request. Some 0530 starts & some 2030 finishes. Easy gig.

We had a really positive experience with Fizz & would happily recommend her. She looked after our 9 and 12 year old and was consistently kind, attentive, & generous with her time and energy. The kids genuinely enjoyed being with her, she kept them engaged with a great mix of activities, from baking and board games, to trips to the park, as well as hairstyles and gaming. It felt like a really thoughtful balance that suited both ages well. We always felt confident that the children were safe and well cared for, and that peace of mind means a lot.
She is a lovely person who clearly cares about the children she looks after, and we’re very grateful for the support she gave our family.
