I’m a passionate nursing student and a proud single mum to my brilliant 7-year-old son, Michael. I’m looking for a kind, trustworthy, and Ofsted-registered childcare provider to support us with after-school care while I’m studying and during my nursing placements.
Michael is a bright, funny, and easy-going child with autism. He thrives on gentle understanding, clear communication, and a calm routine. He loves playtime, creative activities, and one-to-one attention from someone who’s patient and caring.
The role mainly involves collecting Michael from school, spending some time with him after school, and caring for him until I return home—usually around 5 or 6 pm. During placement periods, care may be needed Monday to Friday, with the occasional overnight stay (always arranged in advance).
It’s typically around 3 hours a day, 3 times a week, but I really value flexibility and reliability, especially while I balance university and placement commitments.

My Requirements
I’m looking for someone to pick up my son from school, spend time playing or doing calm activities with him, and care for him until I get home around 5–6 pm.
