LittleFigs are amazing! We feel very lucky to have found Lauren. Our boy joined just after turning 1. He was quite nervous at first but Lauren and Emma were so good at making him feel comfortable. He was loving it in no time and we noticed a big step forwards in his development. He loves being there and gets to enjoy so many activities and outings. Lauren has also created a lovely community for the parents.

We cannot recommend Little Figs highly enough. Since starting with Emma and Lauren, our daughter has come on so much. She was initially very shy and nervous around other children, but they have created such a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment where she feels completely safe and secure. The transformation in her confidence has been incredible to see, and she is now a real social butterfly.
The activities are always thoughtful, engaging and varied, with plenty of outdoor play, nature-based learning and opportunities for exploration. It is clear how much care and effort goes into creating meaningful experiences for the children each week.
Our daughter can be quite a fussy eater, and Emma and Lauren have been so patient and supportive with her. They always encourage her to try new foods and learn about different tastes without any pressure. Thanks to their encouragement, she has become much more adventurous with food and willing to try new things.
One of the things we love most about Little Figs is the sense of community they have built. The other children and families are wonderful, and Emma and Lauren regularly organise special events throughout the year which bring everyone together. It is so lovely to get to know the other families and see the friendships and bonds the children have formed.
Little Figs truly is a hidden gem. We feel incredibly lucky to have found them and have complete peace of mind knowing that our daughter is spending her days in such a happy, caring and enriching environment. Seeing the joy and excitement she has when she goes there says everything.

My almost 2 year old daughter has been attending LittleFigs since March 2025 and has been loving it!
Lauren and her assistant Emma are great - warm, engaging, approachable, and fully dedicated to looking after the little ones, supporting their learning and their emotional wellbeing. I could not have wished for a safer, more supportive environment to send my child. Lauren and Emma are very caring, imaginative and so enthusiastic about what they do. They organise incredible activities for the children, as well as take them out regularly to visit a range of playgroups and activities. Lauren's flat is is full of exciting things for the children to do, and the free flow set up between the flat and the outside space (which is amazing in itself!) works really well. My daughter is always happy to go to LittleFigs, and is also evidently happy at pick up, which is very reassuring for us as parents. Last, but not least, communication is faultless - we get diary updates and weekly observations on the app, but also a detailed handover in person at pick up time.
It really is worth visiting the setting, and the difference between LittleFigs and most other childminder settings will be evident. Thank you, Lauren and Emma, for being so amazing!
