I am a mother of two wonderful daughters and a very proud grandmother of four. I was born in Mauritius and have been lucky enough to live in Africa and Far East Asia, experiences that have helped shape my open-minded, caring, and adaptable nature.
I absolutely love spending time with children and have many years of hands-on family experience. Now that my own children are grown and my grandchildren are more independent, I would be delighted to care for and support other families.
I am active, energetic, and enjoy a healthy lifestyle. In my spare time I love wild swimming and cycling, and I bring that same enthusiasm and positivity into everything I do. I am warm, reliable, and genuinely enjoy creating a happy, safe, and nurturing environment for children.
My Experience
I am fluent in both French and English and have many years of experience in people-focused roles. I qualified as a Travel Agent and worked for 15 years as a Personal Assistant, developing strong organisational and communication skills.
I then spent 18 years in France working in tourism and hospitality, where I ran a bed and breakfast with evening meals and managed gîte accommodation. I also hosted conferences during quieter seasons.
I am warm, reliable, and enjoy caring for others, whether that is supporting children and families or making guests feel welcome and at home.
My Qualifications
I would describe my qualifications as “life experience.” I have raised two wonderful daughters and have cared for nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and the children of friends. I enjoy creating a happy, safe, and nurturing environment for children.
In addition to childcare, I am happy to help with preparing meals, light household tasks, walking dogs, and other practical support. I am very flexible, reliable, and always willing to go the extra mile to help families feel supported.
My Availability
I am an early riser and enjoy keeping my mornings free for cycling and swimming, but I am flexible and happy to adjust my schedule to fit in with family needs. I hold a clean driver’s license and am also willing to help with light household tasks, including cleaning and ironing, if required.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £15.00 per hour
My fee would be from £10 + petrol. It would all depends on what is required.
