About Me
Hi, I’m Lindsay.
I live at home with my husband and children and I run my childminding setting from a dedicated cabin at the bottom of our garden. It’s a calm, cosy space designed specifically for young children.
I’ve worked in a primary school within EYFS and have 5 years of childminding experience. My focus is on creating a relaxed, nurturing environment where children feel secure, understood, and able to be themselves.
I follow a hygge-inspired approach, keeping things simple and calm. We spend a lot of time outdoors exploring and playing, but also enjoy quieter moments inside where children can relax, play, and just take things at their own pace.
I aim to provide high-quality care where children aren’t rushed. I want them to feel valued, supported, and able to learn naturally through play and everyday experiences.
My Experience
I was a registered childminder from 2018 to 2023 before moving on to work in a primary school within the Early Years Foundation Stage. During this time, I supported children on a 1:1 basis in Years 1, 2 and 3, focusing on speech and language development as well as early intervention. I also have a strong interest in child psychology and the Hygge approach to early years education.
My Qualifications
Childminding course, childcare level 3, first aid, safeguarding children, currently undergoing Hygge In Early Years course.
My Availability
The setting will be open from 8am-5pm, Tuesday - Thursday

Our little boy has been with Lindsay for around 6 months now and we are so happy with the care and learning that has been provided over this time. Lindsay is warm, caring and personable and the relationship that she has built with our boy is lovely to see. He is thriving in her care and his growth and learning has come on with leaps and bounds since being with Lindsay. Communication is absolutely fantastic and nothing is too much trouble. Lindsay was patient and persistent during the settling in period and I have no doubt that our little boy loves his time at Lindsay’s. She is everything and more that we could want in a childminder. Thank you xx

We couldn’t be happier with Bouncing Bunnies childminding! Lindsay provides a nurturing and engaging environment for our child, with fun activities. Communication is fantastic, and we love hearing about our child’s adventures each day. We’re so happy we found Lindsay when we did and we highly recommend to anyone looking for childcare.
