Hi there, my name’s Bea and I’m a third year student at Durham University. In my spare time, I like to write for my blog, go on walks in the countryside, and cook up new recipes. I’m very into fashion and food, and I also love to read when I’m not studying for my degree. I’m a member of the university choir, and hope to become involved in the student theatre scene this year. I’m friendly, enthusiastic, and reliable, and I try to bring my creativity to childcare, encouraging drawing, painting, reading, and singing together.
My Experience
I have previous experience working with children in a volunteering capacity. At Worthing Library, I volunteered as part of the summer reading challenge, encouraging kids from ages 3-12 to engage in reading by reading six books over the summer. Similarly, in the Summer of 2022, I volunteered at Our Lady of Sion Junior School in year 5 classes.
