To begin with, I just want to say that I love kids; I want 7 kids when I’m financially stable. I’ve always just felt joy in my heart when I’m around kids. I first started taking babysitting very seriously when my aunty had her first child and couldn’t be there for him much because she was a single mother working and trying to care for her child. I would babysit him, and I was great at it. It was my first time spending so much alone time with a baby, and I had just gotten used to caring for him. So, I started babysitting more kids of different age groups.
My Experience
I have been a nanny for almost four years, during which I’ve gained extensive experience caring for children ranging from newborns to 10 years old. Throughout this time, I’ve had the opportunity to work closely with autistic children as well, which has strengthened my skills in patience, communication, and creating supportive routines. My responsibilities have included feeding, diaper changes, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and helping with daily tasks to ensure each child feels safe, comfortable, and engaged. Overall, my experience has taught me how to adapt to each child’s unique needs while providing consistent, reliable care.
