Part-time Nanny required Oaksey Malmesbury
About Me
My husband Charlie and I have two boys: Vinnie, who is 3½, and Theodore, who is 9 months old. Vinnie is at nursery five days a week, so the role will mainly involve looking after Theodore, with nursery pick-ups and time with both boys till I take over at 4.30pm. We are a kind, loving family and looking for someone with similar morals to come and look after our boys 4 x days a week.
My Requirements
We are looking for a kind, warm, energetic and responsible part-time nanny to join our family when we relocate from London at the beginning of December - but we will wait for the right person so Jan / Feb start is fine. Kindness is by far the most important thing to us, and we would love to find someone who genuinely enjoys being around children and will become a lovely part of our family life.

We have a wonderful nanny in London who has been with us for a long time and who we will be incredibly sad to say goodbye to. We have a really lovely, easy relationship with her, and she would be very happy to speak to whoever joins us to share a little about the boys, their routines and how our family works.
Charlie commutes to London three days a week and I will be commuting two days a week, so we are looking for someone who is dependable, confident driving, positive and energetic, but above all really kind and caring.
The role would include taking Theodore to baby classes, getting out and about with him, coming up with fun and creative activities, preparing simple and healthy meals for him, and helping with the children’s washing and folding. On some days, we would also love you to collect Vinnie from nursery with Theodore and spend the afternoon with both boys.
We’re fairly relaxed as a family, but one thing that is important to us is being present with the children, so we would prefer phones not to be used much while looking after them, other than for things like sending us photos, maps or anything necessary.
The hours would ideally be Monday–Thursday, either 8.30am–4.30pm or 9am–4.30pm.
What we love most about our current nanny is that she is incredibly dependable, professional and so easy to get along with. She throws herself into life with the boys — whether that’s playing football with Vinnie, taking Theodore to classes, thinking up sweet activities for him or helping me make sure they are both eating well. We would really love to find someone with a similar approach: warm, fun, capable and genuinely interested in the children.
We are a very welcoming and easy-going family and would love to find someone who is looking for a happy, long-term role and who will really get to know the boys and become an important part of their lives.
