About Me
My son is 10. He is bright, creative and funny, with a keen sense of humour.
He loves animals, gaming, making up jokes and creating his own games. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, but also needs his own space and sometimes prefers to do his own thing.
He is autistic and has ADHD and can take a little time to feel comfortable and adjust to new people. He responds best to people who are warm, patient and understanding, with a calm approach and tone of voice.
A child-led approach works best for him. He can love chatting, sharing his interests and having company, but equally may want space and time to himself. It’s important to take his lead and allow him to engage in his own way.
My Requirements
Occasional full-day childcare required
Dates: 30 November, 1 December and 2 December
Hours: 8:30am – 4:30/5pm approximately

Looking for a warm, kind and patient person to care for my 10-year-old son in our home or theirs.
The role involves taking him to and from a short, scheduled school session (driving and own transport required), and providing supervision and support for the remainder of the day.
He is fairly independent and enjoys both company and his own space. A calm, flexible, child-led approach is important.
