About Me

Hi! I'm Ruby and I work part time as a behaviour technician (working with autistic children). I love planning and doing all kinds of activities with kids, from making paper plate turtles to doing scavenger hunts and so much more! I'm also an animal lover and am happy to help out with any animal friends!

My Experience

I've been working with children for about 9 years now through babysitting, being a balloon artist, working as a camp counsellor, being an ice cream truck driver, and working as a behaviour technician (working with autistic children). I have experience with school pick ups and drop offs, light housekeeping, preparing meals, etc. I'm CPR/first aid certified and have cared for kids from 5 months to 12 years.

My Qualifications

I am certified in Adult, Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED and Basic Life Support. I have also gotten an enhanced DBS check. I also have a Master’s degree in behaviour analysis, which focuses on supporting SEN individuals and understanding how to positively change behaviour.

My Availability

My schedule is pretty flexible as I work part time and have fairly open availability otherwise. I am also happy to help out with any last minute babysitting needs.

Excellent nanny

Ruby worked with my son for a year doing after school pick ups. She was an excellent nanny to him. Kind, patient, and fun. Ruby is very reliable and professional. She flagged to me things which were important eg with his behaviour. Oscar had a lot of fun with Ruby and always enjoyed the surprise of what might be in her craft bag that she used to bring along !

We miss Ruby a lot. But hope that London is all you hoped for and more x
