About Me
I am a bright and friendly individual who grew up in Shropshire. I enjoy living on Dogpole, Shrewsbury in a historic house with my partner and cat! We enjoy walking, travelling and decorating in our free time. I also enjoy art (painting and collaging) and acting. I am an avid reader and a bookworm and am a beginner yoga-enjoyer! I also enjoy cooking and baking, I especially enjoy baking healthy treats for myself and my family. I grew up in the rural countryside so have a great love for animals! I attended Shrewsbury High Girls School from Prepatory - Senior School and assist students taking their entrance exams and securing scholarships, as I did myself.
I have previously worked as a childminder, baby sitter and private tutor. I have an excellent education from a prestigious local school and am patient and caring. I have also previously worked in Early Years Education in a nursery setting, and have therefore been trained in health and safety among other helpful programmes.
My Experience
I have years of babysitting experience in ages ranging from 2 - 12 and have worked as a childcare professional in a Nursery, specifically as a Nursery Practitioner. I was trained on a 4 to 1 ratio so am confident caring for multiple children and most often worked in the age range of 1-5 but am comfortable with any age! During my time as a Nursery Practitioner I did specific training around mealtimes and interactive play as well as nurturing milestones!
My Qualifications
I have had training within a Childcare setting as a Nursery Practitioner, I was trained in Early Years Care and did extra training in mealtimes and interactive play. I have a DBS check from my time within this Nursery. I also have 9 GCSEs all with A*-Bs and 3 A-Levels all with B-C grades, so am able to help with any homework! I have also completed some Higher Education towards Degree Level. Specifically I have studied Law, Economics and Sociology!
My Availability
I am available full-time or part-time, depending on your needs. I am happy to work mornings, afternoons and evenings and would prefer to live-out. I am also happy to help with the occasional overnight. I love cooking and am able to help with any housework. I am also comfortable tutoring and helping with homework as well as any pet-care you may need!
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
- Nannying from £13.00 per hour (gross)
I am flexible with my fees depending on your needs!
