Personal Assistant/Babysitter Required
About Me
Hi, I'm here to find a babysitter and a Personal assistant for my children.
My Requirements
Hi, I require someone to provide babysitting/ personal assistant services for my 7 year old little girl who has autism and learning disabilities. I'm looking for someone that is willing to go one step further in finding activities to suit her needs, who is enthusiastic and energetic. My daughter needs support throughout her daily life. She's physically fit but would like support in engaging in play therapy, with snack, bedtime routine, going out in community, swimming, horse riding as well as other activities that'll keep her occupied. We also have other professionals working with us who will provide guidance and support to the people working with her in helping her achieve her goals.
I'm also looking for someone to provide personal assistant services for my 17 years old boy, mainly taking him out in the community and doing fun activities. He has autism, and despite of all his learning difficulties, he is very polite and kind, loves swimming, drawing, playing pinno and going to metro centre with his PA to play in Archades. He is currently studying GCSE'S at a college and also studying to become an IT programmer.
I'm looking for someone who is caring and loving and likes to make a difference in children with special needs lives. Someone with a driving license and a car will be ideal ( but people without this requirement are still welcome) and any mileage done whilst taking my son and daughter out will be covered, however, people without this experience are also welcome.
Hours to be discussed upon suitability. Hourly rate, based on your previous experience, can be disscussed. Many thanks in advance for taking your time to read this profile and requirement description. Please get in touch if you have any questions regarding this job and I'll be more than happy to assist you. Thanks

After reading other people's reviews, positive and negative, I've decided to get in touch with Amelia to support my daughter and son. She seemed lovely, which I'm sure she is. She replied promptly to my messages and we even spoke over the phone. Upon her request, I went with her suitable time slot and got a baby sitter to watch my two disabled children to accommodate the meeting as I'm not able to do so without this support.
I was really eager to meet her but despite going with her preferred time, she didn't turn up. I kept texting her but had no reply. I've tried her number and it kept saying that I've dialed an incorrect number. I even tried calling her WhatsApp number but it kept saying that it's unavailable. I was so confused as I spoke to her using the same number a couple of days ago and it worked fine. After seeing that she was active on the Childcare app, I tried contacting her here, but she still did not respond to any of my queries. I can understand that she might have changed her mind but that's not professional and ethical at all. if you've arranged a time to meet someone then at least have a decency to let the other person know that you're not interested, which is absolutely fine as everyone is free to make their own decision.
I wish her all the best but if she's reading this then please try to be considerate of others time and emotions. A lot of parents come here to look for support as they already have many struggles in their lives.
Thanks
