About Me
Hey, I am based in Loughborough and I’m an aspiring SEND teacher. I am not currently a student, instead I’m doing bits and bobs looking for opportunities which interest me! I’ve been doing lots of volunteering, and have a few 0 hour contracts in various sectors. I absolutely adore kids and watching them grow, I’m very crafty and enjoy sharing that with others, especially helping children learn to express themselves with artistic and creative skills.
My Experience
I have been childminding for other families for four years, for children between the ages of 10 months and 10 years old. At home I am a young carer for my 2 teenage brothers who are disabled and require a lot of support and often have challenging behaviours (one brother has had a heart transplant and various serious illnesses, and both brothers are autistic and have ADHD). I'm comfortable childminding for children with various needs!
My Qualifications
I have been a young carer for both of my brothers for over 10 years now, so I am confident caring for children who have different needs to others. I have passed the st johns ambulance basic first aid course in leicester, so I am able to handle an emergency.
My Availability
I am widely available throughout the week - the one day that might cause difficulties is friday, but feel free to message me as I might be available.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
my hourly rate is minimum wage for my age group. However I charge £12 for overnight care (between 10pm and 6am)
