About Me
I am a part time learning support assistant at a SEND school in Loughborough (where I am based too). I absolutely adore kids and watching them grow, I’m very crafty and enjoy sharing that with others, especially helping children learn to express themselves with artistic and creative skills. I’ve grown up with brothers with autism/ADHD and health conditions, so I’ve got lots of experience and an open mind about the varying needs of children and young people too.
My Experience
I have been childminding since 2022 for children between the ages of 10 months and 11 years old, but I’m more than happy to care for younger or older children! I started off as a volunteer at my local SEND school, but they encouraged me to apply for a job very soon after. At the school I work in lower primary, helping develop the children’s social and emotional skills, and how to navigate the world safely (alongside the usual teaching curriculum). At home, I’m a carer for my 2 disabled brothers, they’re both teenagers now but I was helping out even when they were toddlers.
My Qualifications
I don’t have any qualifications relevant to childminding, but I am confident in my ability to care for children, even with challenging behaviours, health conditions etc. I have a lot of experience, but I’m also looking to learn, feel free to get in touch :)
My Availability
I am available thursdays, saturdays and sundays all day. and occasionally in the evenings on the other days
My Fees
- Babysitting from £12.00 per hour
my hourly rate is £12. for 10pm-6am I charge £15
