About Me
Due to relocation I am now looking for new families to work with. I'm more than happy to work for more than one family at a time, which I have done before. I provide a nurturing safe simulating and fun environment for children, encouraging outside play and socialising as much as possible. Along with playing with children my interests are gardening, music and cooking and I have to say they are a great combination and go together very well. My own children have now fled the nest which means I'm available to offer around the clock care including night care and weekends. I have a safe and inviting home in a fabulous location near the beach and West St Leonards train station. References are available apon request.
My Experience
I have over 20 years experience as a child minder and looking forward to meeting new families in and around St Leonards, I moved over to become a nanny 2 years ago, which I have loved. I have been a nanny in London and gained great experience supporting families within their home, I have worked alongside schools, local play groups and other early year providers helping to organise small events and creating learning opportunities, some have been fundraising events where children have had lots of fun mixing within the community all helping children to build friendships locally.
My Qualifications
Level 3 Diploma in Home-based Childcare.
Pediatric 1st aid.
Safeguarding level 2.

My Availability
I am very flexible with availability and happy to work up to 35 hours per week, I am looking to find a family wishing to create a long term working relationship, as well as some ad-hoc work..

Lynn cared for our 8-month-old daughter for a few hours over the past two days, and we couldn’t be more impressed. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and engaging, creating a positive environment for our little one. Lynn’s knowledge of sleep training was evident, and she handled multiple meal times with ease, even taking our daughter on a local trip to the park. Our daughter was clearly relaxed and happy in Lynn's care. We would absolutely recommend Lynn and would be more than happy to work with her again if the need arises. Please note that we have not rated 'setting', 'cleanliness' or 'food' as Lynn was working at our home and we provided food for our child.

Lynn has recently started looking after my 4 year old twins and has been a godsend. The children instantly bonded with her and have a great time playing and learning with her. She is punctual, helpful and lovely to be around. Would highly recommend her as a nanny.

From the moment my daughter was looked after by Lynn, we felt that she was in safe hands. We had a previous bad experience with a childminder where my daughter would not settle. Lynn came into our lives and enriched all of our worlds. I never worried again. Lynn created an amazing and stimulating environment, took my daughter to a vast array of children’s activities every week and out to places of interest. As an only child, Lynn provided my daughter with a social life involving fun with other children and through play and interaction. Lynn became a part of our family and us a part of hers. Lynn looked after our daughter for 10 years and we were blessed. I could not recommend Lynn enough, she is caring kind and an excellent childminder/nanny. My daughter had great times growing up with Lynn and talks of her fondly.
