My Requirements
Maternity Cover Nanny – Brixham | January to September 2027 (fixed term)
Rota: 2 weeks on, 3 weeks off. You’re free to take other work during your 3 weeks off.
Hours: 40 hours per week during each 2-week block. Shifts are given well in advance.
Nights: About 2 nights per 2-week block. Our child sleeps through, so this is a standby sleep-in. You’ll have your own room and bathroom, with meals provided if wanted.
Weekends: Occasionally needed within the 2-week block.
Pay: £1,250 per month gross via PAYE (about £18/hr including holiday pay).
The role: Caring for our 2-year-old, who attends preschool Tuesday to Thursday. Duties include drop-offs and pick-ups, childcare on non-preschool days, light housework, and being available if they’re unwell.
Requirements:
Enhanced DBS check
Paediatric first aid certificate
Full driving licence
This fixed-term role ends when our permanent nanny returns from maternity leave, expected September 2027.
This role would suit someone who wants regular blocks of time off and a settled, well-organised family.
