Part Time Nanny wanted for busy family with 2 children
About Me
Family of four living in the centre of Oxford. 3 yr old boy and 16 mth old girl. Dad works full time mainly out of the house, often from home on Thursdays, mum works 2 days a week from home.
My Requirements
Nanny for two days a week 9am-5pm, sole charge. Ideally OFSTED registered, but not a deal breaker.
Our son is at preschool at Emmanuel Christian School in Littlemore on Tues mornings currently (pickup 12.15). From September he will be doing full days (pick up 3pm). The job is looking after our daughter all day, taking her to pick up our son during term time. Full day with both children during school holidays. We have an electric cargo trike we use for the school run or you can take the bus from speedwell street to Littlemore.
Both children are fun and energetic and benefit from activities and time outside.

Tomi helped us out one night a week from when my husband went back to work for about 2 months. She was very flexible and once we'd worked out what was the best routine for us it made all the difference. I unexpectedly struggled with postnatal depression and Tomi was able to step in and do several nights in a row for us at one point to allow the crisis to abate and both my husband and I to get more sleep. We are very grateful for all her help. It was truly wonderful to have someone who could come in to help with out being intrusive.

Communication
Tash has been wonderful with our 18-month-old son. She engages him well on his terms and he is always excited when he knows she is coming.
She has also been a very reassuring presence making both us and our son feel comfortable to go out of the house with her and try new places (e.g. rhyme time at the library).
