About Me
I am a babysitter and a carer, who specialises in one-on-one support for neurodivergent individuals and children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
For long term care, I aim to ensure every child and young person feels happy, safe and confident, while navigating any Individualised Care Plans or goals that you have as a family.
For short term care, I hope to create a fun environment, learning the specific needs and routines of your household.
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, baking, board games, art, music and going on outings!
My Experience
I have practical experience and a history of community advocacy, across age groups.
I delivered 1-on-1 interventions for disabled children and young people within a structured, supported activities scheme. I am experienced in managing sensory processing differences, and navigating Autism and ADHD differences. I also am competent in managing personal care and basic nutritional support, developed through dedicated service in residential nursing facilities.
In terms of educational and community support, I have supported early childhood development (ages 4–9) within formal primary school environments, assisting with social-emotional learning and classroom integration. I work as a University Student Communities Worker, directly coordinating accessibility programmes and peer support for underrepresented and disabled demographics. Finally, I help run programs for youth and adolescent cohorts in my capacity as a Student Ambassador, and maintain an up-to-date DBS check for working with young people.
My Qualifications
I am currently studying BA Languages and Cultures, covering Spanish, Italian and linguistics. I have an A* A-level in English Language with a focus on Child Language Development, which I further explored in my A* EPQ.
In my free time I am involved with autism advocacy, and am working on translation projects to bring autism support resources to more communities!
