About Me

Hi, I’m Kirsty, and I run a warm and welcoming home nursery where your little one can feel comfortable and secure while they explore, play and learn.

My setting is a true home away from home, with a large garden where children can enjoy outdoor play in all weather, as well as a spacious, open-plan living area filled with a variety of activities including arts and crafts, baking, construction toys, small world play, puzzles and reading.

I offer a range of engaging experiences such as messy play, sensory play, music and movement, role play, and seasonal or themed activities to encourage children to explore, discover and learn through play.

I strongly believe that children learn best through play, so I provide plenty of opportunities for free play and exploration. Activities are mainly child-led, following each child’s individual interests and needs to support their development in a fun, meaningful and engaging way.

My Experience

I have two years of experience working in childcare and have developed a strong understanding of the importance of providing a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment for children. As a mother myself, I also understand the importance of building trusting relationships with families and ensuring that every child feels valued, supported and confident in my care. I am committed to providing high-quality childcare that supports each child’s individual development, interests and wellbeing.
