My Requirements

We are looking for a warm, motherly, and reliable housekeeper who can also provide light childcare support.

Main focus: Housekeeping and cooking for the family.
Secondary: Supervising our young child when needed.

This role requires flexibility and fluidity — you will work alongside us as and when needed and happily switch between housekeeping, cooking, and childcare tasks throughout the day. This is not a nanny role — childcare is supportive, not primary.

We are looking for someone who wants to be part of our family long-term and is happy to adapt their rota.

Responsibilities
• General cleaning and tidying of the home
• Laundry and household organisation
• Cooking meals for the whole family
• Supporting routines and supervising our child when needed
• Confidently being alone with the child for short periods
• Switching between tasks as required throughout the day
About You
• Experienced in housekeeping and family cooking
• Warm, motherly, and comfortable with young children
• Trustworthy, reliable, calm, and practical
• Good judgement and able to work independently
• Flexible, adaptable, and happy to switch roles as needed
• English helpful but warmth, common sense, and experience matter most

Hours & Pay
• Hours: part time to full time - flexible
• Pay: £12–15/hour (depending on experience and services)Pay rise as family grows.
