My Experience
I have experience looking after my neighbours’ babies and young children, which has helped me develop strong childcare skills and confidence caring for children of different ages. I’m comfortable helping with feeding, bedtime routines, entertaining children with activities and games, and making sure they feel happy and comfortable in my care. In addition to babysitting, I also have experience teaching children how to swim, which has further strengthened my ability to work with kids in a calm, encouraging, and supportive way. Teaching swimming has helped me build excellent communication skills, patience, and an understanding of how to keep children safe while helping them grow in confidence and develop new skills. I really enjoy working with children and would love the opportunity to continue helping families.
My Qualifications
I have achieved six Highers, including English and Maths, and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Policy. My education has taught me how to work responsibly, manage my time effectively, and remain calm and professional in different situations.
