About Me

Hi I’m Katie and I have experience working in a nursery with children aged 0-5 years. I am very passionate about working with children as I love to see children grow and develop their own little personalities. With a calm, caring and organised nature I believe it is important to understand each child’s individual needs and to be able to adapt accordingly. I love to provide exciting activities for the children to suit their interests. I enjoy taking children to visit the park, farm, beach and exploring nature. As well as other activities at home, which can include baking, painting and messy play activities to help the children’s development. I have a full clean driving license.

My Experience

I have a years experience in being a nanny/housekeeper. I have worked in a nursery where I have gained my child care qualification. I have experience with ages 0-5years in a nursery setting.
At age of 16 I qualified as a swim teacher where I taught children from the age of 3 up 15 years.
Babysitting for 4 years for children ranging from 7 months old to 13 years old.

My Qualifications

-NCFE CACHE level 2 diploma for the early years practitioner
- Full paediatric first aid
- STA (swimming teachers association) level 2 swimming award
