Registered Childminder Job in Derby
About Me
We're relocating to Derby in August/September for my husband's new job. We have a toddler (DD born April 2024) and are looking for childcare within approximately 10 miles of Derby. We're flexible on location to suit a childminder's availability.
I'm currently a primary school teacher and will be moving to supply work for flexibility once we relocate. We're looking for a kind, caring childminder — ideally 3 days a week, probably Monday to Wednesday, though we're open to other arrangements. Drop-offs and pick-ups may vary depending on which school I'm working at, but typically around 7:00–7:30am and 5:30–6:00pm. We're eligible for and looking to use 30 hours funding.
Freya is very easy-going and smiley — she's settled brilliantly into different care settings with no concerns. After a difficult experience with a previous childminder, she thrived with friends and in a nurturing nursery environment. She's made fantastic progress with potty training and is now wearing normal knickers, can mostly dress herself, is a very good eater and uses a fork well. We're keen to find a compassionate professional who's the right fit for our family.
My Requirements
