About Me

Hi! My name is Eleanor, I am 23 years old and a recent graduate from the University of Bath and am now back living in my beautiful hometown of Poole for a gap year, before starting my law conversion course.

I love spending time with children and find their energy, curiosity and perspective on the world so refreshing. I’m patient, kind and reliable, and enjoy getting to know each child and what they like doing.

I have my own car and would love to find a family I can get to know and build a good relationship with. I’m available for regular evening babysitting, taking the children out for activities, and helping out when needed. I'm happy to discuss other needs you may have, such as pick-ups from school or overnight care.

I’m most comfortable with children aged around 4 and above, as I haven’t had a lot of experience with babies and toddlers. I’m very happy to discuss your family’s needs and see whether I might be a good fit.

My Experience

I have experience caring for children, having babysat regularly here as a teenager. I started nannying again last year while living in Surrey, looking after two lovely children aged 5 and 8. I also did a couple of 24-hour and 48-hour stints when their parents were working, so I’m comfortable taking responsibility for children and keeping them happy, safe and entertained.

Other experience apart from regular babysitting includes taking children to the park and farm, playing games, teaching chess, helping with Kumon and homework, cooking, bath time and the usual bedtime routines. I’m happy to help with homework and get involved in whatever your children enjoy.

Can provide reference and DBS.

My Availability

I’m currently available for babysitting during the day, in the evenings and at weekends. I’m looking for a café job, so my daytime availability may change depending on my working hours.
