About Me

I am a 47 year old friendly & caring person with two grown up children and two young grandchildren. Having brought up my own children and now supporting them to raise their own children is by far my greatest achievement of life. I am currently volunteering providing dog therapy to a wide range of people, this combines two of my life passions... my love of dogs and bringing joy into people's lives.

My Experience

Following my first degree I worked within rehabilitation for 11 years with people with acquired brain injuries; this was within a residential setting & in the community. For the past 13 years I have worked as a registered children's nurse on a neonatal intensive care unit providing family centred care to sick and preterm babies. For 12 months I have been working as a private nanny supporting families with their newborn within their family home.

My Qualifications

Registered children's nursing degree
BA honours social science

I have worked nights for the past 13 years and this is my preferred shift pattern however I would be open to other shifts
