My Experience

I have nearly 10 years of experience working with children aged 2 to 11 across a variety of settings, including nurseries, play clubs, primary schools, outdoor education centres, babysitting, private tutoring and one-to-one support.

A particularly proud moment in my career was working as a key worker in a nursery for a child with selective mutism and global developmental delay. Through patient, child-led activities and a playful use of toy animals as communication tools, I was able to support the child’s confidence, language development and emotional growth. Experiences like this have helped shape me into a highly adaptable and empathetic childcare professional.

I have experience supporting children with a range of additional needs, and I am confident in adapting my approach to suit each individual child.

I particularly value reading for learning, and dialogic learning experiences.

Level 3 Childcare Qualification

Primary Education Degree

Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) Check

Paediatric First Aid Certificate

Outdoor First Aid Training

Safeguarding and Prevent Training

Sporty and passionate about promoting physical activity and outdoor play

I am happy to offer flexible, ad-hoc care to suit your family’s needs, including babysitting, after-school care, holiday support and overnight stays. I’m very adaptable and always aim to accommodate last-minute bookings where possible.

• Babysitting from £10.00 per hour
• Tutoring from £12.00 per hour
