hello! My name is Isla Cailin Shaw, i am 20 years old and have recently come back from working abroad. I currently work in a wedding venue part time but i am looking for work to fill my free time doing something i love. I really enjoy spending my time with friends and family, baking and going on walks and seeing new places. i am a friendly and reliable individual and pride myself on my dedication and enthusiasm both in and out of work life.
My Experience
i have previously worked in a children’s indoor play centre which required DBS background check, first aid training and food hygiene certificate as well as an engaging and professional personality to go with it.
I also worked for 6 weeks as an au pair in Patras, Greece for a family with 2 children which was an amazing experience. I taught the children english as well as cooking, cleaning and spending time doing various activities day to day with them.
Whilst not necessarily professional, i have a fairly big family consisting of 5 sisters and 2 brothers (1 younger with special needs) which means i have been brought up around children and have multiple areas of knowledge engaging with all different personalities and being able to communicate well to a multitude of ages ect.
i also worked as a support worker with people with mental health issues, requiring endurance, self motivation as well as learning and showing the importance of preserving dignity as well as motivating individuals daily by creating engaging tasks and a friendly and safe environment
My Qualifications
i have got my travel and tourism level 2, food hygiene, BSL, GCSE level 5 in english and english
