About Me
I am currently in my second year at the university of Exeter and am looking to gain further experience in childcare while I am at university. I enjoy working with children and supporting them as they learn while also enjoying themselves.
My Experience
In the summer of 2024, I completed the Freckles Childcare residential Junior Nanny Course, alongside training in paediatric first aid. During the autumn term of 2024, I worked as a Gap Assistant at preparatory school local to my home in Hampshire, where I supported teaching staff in the classroom and assisted house parents and matrons in the boarding house.
In early 2025, I took on the role of Residential Matron at the same school, gaining further experience working closely with the boarding team to support both day and boarding students aged 8–13. As well as working within the matron team.
Since then, I have spent time travelling around the world and am now studying at university
I have worked as a nanny for a lovely family near my home town during school holidays for over a year now and am looking to continue gaining experience during term-time while studying in Exeter. .
