My Summary

My Experience

We lived in Spain as a young family for a couple of years, running our own successful business. We decided to sell up after some time and came back to England in 2009.

I then took a position as an ‘over the counter medicine advisor’ in 2 local pharmacies for 2 years, doing a year in each.

In 2011 I became a housekeeper and child minder for a professional couple with 1 teenage daughter and 2 older children in Sevenoaks. My duties, as well as child care, included keeping accounts for the house, paying household bills, arranging house and car maintenance as and when required, daily food shop, gifts for social occasions and other household shopping. I also cared for the family dogs, walking them daily with numerous vet trips as they grew older. Each July, we would load the car, dogs included, then set off for the long drive across to South West France, where we would meet the family at their home in Biarritz for the summer. There, I would continue my daily duties of babysitting/childcare for other family members, shopping, dog walking, vet trips etc. Then in September we had the long drive back with dogs to Sevenoaks. I finished with this family in 2019 and have continued to maintain a good relationship with them still today, with occasional calls for the odd dog/house sitting duties while the family continue to travel.


I was then employed by a professional couple as a nanny for their 2 girls aged 9 & 11 in 2019 until October 2024, when their father took early retirement and took over my role as primary carer for the girls. We are still in regular contact and meet up several times a year.
Duties included preparing meals for the girls, supervising homework, taking and collecting from activities after school and during holiday times, organising the girls for school the following day and light housekeeping duties including laundry.

I was then employed as a nanny by a family in Tonbridge with 3 children aged 6, 9 and 11 from November 2024 to July 2025 carrying out similar duties as listed above.

I then took up a position childminding an 8 year old girl in July 2025 to October 2026. I collected her from school Monday to Friday, carrying out similar duties as above. The mother was working in London full time and the father was planning to return to London after a long spell working from home. The mother has since changed her job and now works from home and has taken over the care of their daughter, so I’m no longer required for childcare with them.

Education GCSE’s English, maths, history, French, Spanish, home economics,
Pharmacy over the counter medicine advisor & stop smoking advisor. Tiger lily first aid training.

My Availability

I am now looking for a position of a minimum 20 hours per week, all year round, in childcare and light housekeeping duties Monday to Friday, preferably not before school. Enhanced DBS and insurance in place. Ready to start immediately.

My Fees

• Babysitting from £16.00 per hour
• Nannying from £16.00 per hour (net)
