About Me
I provide child care and support for the whole family in their own home. Full driving license with own car. Collect from school. Taking & collecting children to and from activities after school and during holidays. Cooking an evening meal for the children, preparing them and their belongings for the next day, assisting and supervising homework. I am a huge animal lover, so happy with a family with pets. I also enjoy baking and craft activities and love swimming too.
My Experience
We lived in Spain as a young family for a couple of years, running our own successful business. We decided to sell up after some time and came back to England in 2009.
I then took up a position as an ‘over the counter medicine advisor’ in 2 local pharmacies for 2 years, doing a year in each.
In 2011 I became a housekeeper and child minder for a professional couple with 1 teenage daughter and 2 older children in Sevenoaks. My duties, as well as child care, included keeping accounts for the house, paying household bills, arranging house and car maintenance as and when required, daily food shop and any other shopping required, caring for the family dogs, walking them daily and numerous vet trips as they grew older. I accompanied the family, including the dogs, yearly, to their home in South West France during the summer months and continued my daily duties there. I finished with this family in 2019 and have continued to maintained a good relationship from then on.
I was then employed by a professional couple as a nanny to their 2 girls aged 9 & 11 in 2019 until October 2024, when their father took early retirement and took over my role as primary carer for the girls. We are still in regular contact and meet up several times a year.
Duties included preparing meals for the girls, supervising homework, taking and collecting from activities after school and during holiday times, light housekeeping including laundry. Ensuring they have everything for school the following day.
I was then employed as a nanny by a family in Tonbridge with 3 children aged 6, 9 and 11 from November 2024 to July 2025 carrying out similar duties as listed above.
I’m currently with a professional couple childminding their 8 year old daughter, collecting her from school Monday to Friday and carrying out similar duties as above.
My Qualifications
Education GCSE’s English, maths, history, French, Spanish, home economics,
Pharmacy over the counter medicine advisor & stop smoking advisor. Tiger lily first aid training.
