About Me
I am an organised, calm and energetic person with experience in childcare and disability support work. I love to spend time outdoors and engage with children in a creative and playful manner that avoids using screens. I love books, reading, and encouraging children to explore their imagination. I love music, dance, drawing, painting and games and think these are all great ways to entertain and stimulate children. I love good and healthy food and cooking.
My Experience
Since moving to the UK one year ago I have worked with three families, their ages ranging between 3 to 14 years. Previous to that I was a part time nanny in Sydney for 1 year and 3 months, April 2023 - July 2024. My duties and responsibilities whilst working with these families included assisting with morning school drop off and afternoon pickups, food preparation, household chores and most importantly building a meaningful connection with the kids. Between 2021-2024 I was a full time Project Officer working in Aboriginal affairs. As a Project Officer, I developed my skills in organisation and planning, and gained meaningful cultural awareness skills through working with marginalised communities. Previous to this I was a Disability Support Practitioner for 1 year (2021) working with people with disabilities, both physical and mental. I studied a degree in Social Justice and Sociology.

Full Paediatric First Aid (2025)
First Aid Certificate (Australia)
Bachelor Degree, Double Major Sociology & Social Justice with High Distinction.
My Availability
Currently available for ad hoc work and babysitting between Thurs - Sun.
My Fees
- Babysitting from £13.00 per hour
£13-17 per hour, let's discuss. Reference from last family available upon request.

We enlisted Maddie to babysit our 5yo and 8mo just before Christmas 2025 - she was very quick to respond to messages, and we were able to organise to meet her prior to the event. She shared a copy of her DBS check upon request and was super engaged with our eldest upon meeting her. She arrived on time and was prepared to undertake anything we needed with the girls - it was mainly just bedtime for our eldest, but she did need to settle our baby later on in the evening which she did successfully. Our eldest absolutely loved her and they had a great time making up stories together and playing before bed. I would highly recommend Maddie and would certainly use her as a babysitter again - she was fab!
