About Me
Hi there! I',m a mum working full time from home and have a 2 year old boy -d.ob.12.2023. I'm pretty easy going and don't have any specific requirements but my son doesn't play independently so much yet so is needing more 1-2-1 attention. I have used a regular nanny for the year 2025 and few other babysitters during holidays however all have moved on to full time work. My elderly mother-in-law is also at home most times so is on hand for support.
My Requirements
I require a Bengali speaking nanny/babysitter (due to mother in law) or any language speaking childminders. For up 5 hours a day 11.30-4.30 (max 25 hours a week) for the school holiday periods while my regular childminders is closed.
If a nanny/babysitter then I would require help at home with someone to watch play with my son in the living room while I work on the computer in my room. It's a one floor flat so I will be available and I don't need anyone to cook, clean or do nappy changing. Weather permitting, my son can be taken out to the park, leisure centre soft play, or the local children centres all walking distance from my home.
If childminder then I would need you to be within 15 minutes walk of my home location.

I had the pleasure of having Taslima caring for my son during the holidays. I found her to be very respectful, intelligent, and caring. She was always full of energy and always put my son's needs first was able to meet. My son loved being with her and I look forward to working more with her in future.

I have had the pleasure of having Happy as a nanny for my son since January 2025 when he was 13 months of age. She has looked after him at home while I'm at home, also alone in and outside. She does pick ups and drop offs to nursery too.
Happy is extremely knowledgeable and skilled and i'm always amazed by her ability to stay calm but at the same time has an infectious bubbly personality and full of energy. A very respectful, kind and polite lady.
Happy is punctual arriving before the shift starts so she is always on time and has always giving me advanced notice of days or time off and accomodating to offer me alternative days or times. She has clear communication over the phone and face to face and responds quickly and let's me know of any lateness asap although I don't remember her ever being late as she is always putting the client needs before her own.
Happy listens to instructions when provided to her verbally or in writing. However, she will use her intuition to be flexible in her approach to childminding where she is led by son's needs. Example when he is poorly or when he going through development milestones she is able to able to adjust her care and his schedule with and without direction. She is able to feed him to my preference and gives me ideas too when he is changing his likes.
She is trusted with my son when she is left in my home and outside alone. My son is very energetic and Happy has the energy match him. She is able able to walk around following my son running around in the park and at indoor play sessions for hours and has never complained about being tired. She knows lots of activities to keep my son entertained and also reads to him. He is always wanting to play and do different things and Happy is always accommodating his requests but she knows when to discipline when needed and I trust her judgement.
I have seen a great deal of change in my son's development and confidence since Happy has been working as his nanny. My son is always eager for his play time with his aunty Happy. She has also taught me a lot and has been patient with me while I have been learning and adapting to being a first time parent, which I am extremely grateful for. I consider Happy to be like family and so does my son and the rest of my family who have welcomed her into our lives.
