Full Time Nanny with Special Needs Experience Job in Sevenoaks
About Me
Happily married parents of 3 wonderful children aged 13 years, 10 years and 2 years.
We live in a quiet, private road in Otford. The children go to school in Sevenoaks and Sundridge.
The children are very well behaved, loving and energetic. They love taking the dogs for walks, going to feed the ducks, walks to the playground, playing hide and seek in the garden and building Lego fantasy worlds.
My husband and I both work full time, part time working from home.
My Requirements
We are an Otford family looking for a school holiday nanny to do Monday to Friday 9am to 5:30pm negotiable. There are 18.5 weeks of school holiday per year.
We are looking for someone who is able to provide exceptional pastoral care, with good family values and morals. A good and confident cook. Excellent organisational skills and hard working to support the day to day running of our home.
We have 3 children (aged 2 girl, 10 boy and 13 girl) and two dogs.
Must have a clean driving license. Nanny will use our car.
Primary care will be for our youngest girl, the older two need very little hands on attention.
Nanny Duties:
All the normal nanny duties, such as:
Cooking nutritious meals for the family. Meal and snacks preparation. Evening meals must be prepared for parents as well the children.
Toilet training for the youngest.
Washing and hanging children’s clothes.
Packing away the children’s clothes.
Making children’s beds and changing linen.
Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming children’s areas.
Loading and unloading the dishwasher.
Freshening the children’s rooms.
Grocery shopping and occasional household errands.
Taking the bins out.
Housekeeping duties (optional)
Laundry and ironing for the whole family.
Dusting and polishing.
Deep cleaning bathrooms and kitchen.
Dog walking (optional for extra hours).
Light gardening (optional for extra hours).
We have two female dogs at home who are very good with the children. Nanny would need to be able to handle the dogs on her own by letting them out and back in throughout the day and giving them water.
NB: Sorry you will not be able to bring your own child/children with you because we have two dogs in the house, and we will need your full attention on our children and home.

Please be aware that Marie left her job with us 30 minutes into her 3rd day with us. She left without saying goodbye or having a conversation about why she left. We were paying her £18 per hour doing cleaning, cooking and ironing. During her phone interview Marie assured us that she would do anything for £18 per hour, she was extremely reliable and her references were exclusive. Regardless of her reasoning behind leaving, to leave without conversation or warning means that we must leave a bad review and discourage future employees from taking this risk. Up until this point we had an excellent relationship with Marie, no arguements, no disputes and we paid via bank transfer. We have huge experience with nannies and cleaners and know what can be done.

Hi
I left, after my third shift as you wanted me too do a deep clean of everywhere in a large house in 4 hours and cook your dinner . You have an old dog in a nappy . You wanted me too bleach the toilet area where he sleeps . I won’t use bleach around animals or children. As anyone else knows because it’s harmful.
I will do general cleaning . However
Cleaning dog urine and faeces off a dilapidated stone floor is beyond me …. I am not a slave I have impeccable refs which you didn’t take up .
You say you’d had trouble keeping nannies /cleaners as your home is dilapidated and a filthy mess .
Please don’t try too ruin my reputation.
So anyone that would like to work for this family beware .
