Hiya, I’m Emily - a qualified and experienced childcare professional based in Eastwood. I have over six years of experience working with children from 10 weeks to 7 years in a variety of settings. I hold Bsc (Hons) Degree in Psychology with Child Development, a level 3 Diploma in Childcare and Education and a Level 4 Professional Diploma in Teaching (Performing Arts). I am also currently training to be a counsellor.
I offer flexible childcare tailored to your family’s needs, and I hold a full UK driving licence.
I am unavailable after 6pm on Wednesday evenings.
My childcare approach is grounded in a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and responsive care. I incorporate daily outdoor time, throughout the year, as nature has been shown to support wellbeing for both children and adults. I also value a balance of independent and adult-led play, including role play, construction, and cooking; to support the child in building perseverance, creativity and problem solving skills.

I have worked with children across nursery, primary, and extracurricular settings supporting children from 10 weeks to 7 years of age. This wide range of experience allows me to offer emotionally supportive, developmentally appropriate care, whether your child is a baby, toddler, or young child.

My Availability
I offer flexible hours to suit families with irregular schedules. I am available all weekdays and I am open to discussing weekend availability.
The only time I am unavailable is Wednesday evenings after 6pm.
