About Me
Hello,
My name is Ava, I am 21 years old and currently in the process of moving to Brighton! At present, I am working in Kent, Mon/Wed/Thurs/ad hoc for a lovely family of four; B10 & B14 and a very handsome red labrador retriever. Reference available upon request.
I plan to move to Brighton later this year - though in the meantime, I would love to take on another family looking for a part-time nanny. I am comfortable with a busy schedule and working longer hours.

I adore working with children and animals more than anything, I love keeping fit by going for long walks along the seaside or horse riding. So running around after energetic toddlers or taking the dog for a walk is no problem for me. In my free time you will find me drawing, cooking, reading, crafting or journaling - there will always be plenty of things for your little ones and I to do, to keep busy!
I am a very clean and organised person, learning a lot of my skills on a 3 - week yachting course I took in 2023 , training to a seven star service standard. I will be more than happy to offer light housekeeping services.
I hold a clean basic DBS check, trained in first aid and would be happy to have any further checks/courses when requested.
My Experience
I have been working full-time / ad hoc for just under a year - looking after two boys, the youngest 10 and the eldest 14. An average day for me would include making the boys breakfast in the morning, taking them to school, dog/house sit during the day, school pick up, prepare dinner, drop off/pick up to/from their after school club, get the youngest ready for bedtime then hold down the fort until the parents return from work :)
My Qualifications
I attended St Edmunds School from lower to upper school, finishing my final year early in 2020 due to covid. I then went on to college in 2021 where I earned a merit my first year and a distinction my second year, studying Production & Performance Arts.
In 2023 I earned a range of certificates after completing a three week yachting course in the Isle Of Wight. Relevant certificates listed here;
